Following the same gastronomic approach that Chef Niko Romito applies to large leavened cakes, the Pandoro is the result of long leavening and fermentation processes using organic sourdough starter. The selection of raw materials is of the highest quality: organic flours, fresh eggs, egg yolk, butter made from fresh cream, organic Bourbon vanilla, and citrus honey, which give the Pandoro a rich taste and high hydration, for a perfect consistency.
The 800g pandoro, produced in a limited edition, returns in a special guise: elegantly packaged in exclusive silk shoppers, available in three colors, with a design created specifically for the project by Francesca Ruffini Stoppani's For Restless Sleepers brand. By purchasing the Niko Romito Pandoro for FONDAZIONE VERONESI, you directly contribute to the funding of the PALM Research Project®, an innovative scientific project aimed at developing new diagnostic methods for acute myeloid leukemia, a very aggressive blood cancer that affects approximately 70 children per year in Italy. 40% of the proceeds from the sale of the Pandoro will be allocated to funding this research.
